What’s it like working with me?

I’m a relational, integrative therapist and I offer a warm, accepting space where you can be yourself and talk openly, without judgement.

Being integrative means I don't stick to one fixed therapeutic approach, I draw on different ways of working and adapt them to suit you and what you need. Being relational means I believe the relationship we build together is central to the process. Rather than something done to you, therapy is something we do together, and it's within that connection that real change can happen.

I believe that understanding someone also means understanding the world they live in. Our relationships, families, communities and wider society can all shape how we experience ourselves and our lives. My approach is trauma-informed and affirming of LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent identities, grounded in anti-oppressive practice. I recognise that we each experience the world in our own way, and I want to understand what that experience is like for you.

Whatever you’re going through, I’m interested in your individual story. You don't need to prepare anything before our sessions - though if you'd like to, that's welcome too. Come as you are, and we'll find our way together, with curiosity and compassion, at whatever pace feels right for you..
